IMPACT 5 in Tallinn/Estland

Some impressions

This October, the international printmaking conference IMPACT nr. 5 was held in Tallinn, under the theme "Slices of Time".

The conference took place at the new Art Museum Kumu and at Kadriorg Palace, among other places.

Delegates from all over the world were able to enjoy a huge program with panels, discussions and demonstrations. Beside the Tallinn Printmaking Triennial, numerous exhibitions gave a deep impression of Estonian and international printmaking.

druckstelle participated in the conference as part of the international artist group "Nagasawa 10", who presented a portfolio with ten woodblock prints, printed with water-based inks.

The City of Tallinn honoured the delegates with wonderful receptions at historical places. During the goodbye-party in a public club, the Estonian youth danced friendly with the strange printmakers.

In 2009, IMPACT 6 will take place in Bristol, UK.
It would be nice to meet you there.

Fotos from the 4th IMPACT International Printmaking Conference

From September 5 - 10, the 4th IMPACT International Printmaking Conference took place in Berlin, Germany, and Poznan, Poland.

Over 300 printmakers from all over the world attended the conference.
