druckstelle is a space to practice, research
into and teach interesting innovative and traditional printmaking techniques.
The studio is equipped with facilities for intaglio, woodblock and screen
printing.
The studio's philosophy is working with methods
which allow new technical options in the printmaking field while
minimizing the use of harmful substances.
druckstelle offers workshops in
traditional Japanese woodblock,
colour intaglio with acrylic grounds
and photopolymer film, and simple ways of
screen printing with water-based
inks.
druckstelle was established in 2001 by the two artists
Eva Pietzcker and Miriam Zegrer. Since 2008, Eva Pietzcker is continueing
the studio alone. Miriam Zegrer has opened her own studio, you can contact
her by email to zegrer@druckstelle.info.
druckstelle is not an open studio or offering residencies.
Please contact the
open
studio of the BBK (Berlin artists association) for that.
