Workshop Philosophy
Workshops at druckstelle should allow getting deep practical
experience within a printmaking technique, where appropriate with an introduction
into its historical background. A packed program teaches not only the
basic techniques but also usually less familiar areas. A focus lies on
using non-toxic materials and simple equipment as much as possible.
All workshops are suitable for beginners as professional
printmakers as well. I try to respond to each participant's special level.
The class should prepare the participant for working independently in
the future.
Also, during such a week, beautiful prints should be created,
the participants should get inspiration by the other's works, and we all
should enjoy a good time together.
Registration terms
The fee for a workshop is 350 €
(including 19% VAT).
If you are interested in registering, please contact me
by email or phone to clarify if there is space available. For final registration
you send me the signed form (as pdf available for download, please see
above) and transfer a deposit of 180 € as stated in the registration
form, both within a week (in case of foreign bank transfer, please make
sure that charges will be for your account). The remaining 170 €
of the workshop fee are payable during the workshop.
Cancellation
The deposit is refunded if cancelling until 6 weeks before
the workshop starts.
Workshops may be cancelled by me in cases of force majeure; the deposit
will then be reimbursed.
