druckstelle was established in 2001 by the two artists
Eva Pietzcker and Miriam Zegrer as a space to practice, research
into and teach interesting innovative and traditional printmaking
techniques. The studio is equipped with facilities for intaglio,
woodblock and screen printing and a darkroom.
The studio's philosophy is working with methods
which allow new technical options in the printmaking field while
minimizing the use of harmful substances.
druckstelle offers
workshops in
traditional Japanese woodblock,
new techniques of intaglio like the
acrylic grounds and the
photopolymer film, and simple
ways of
screen printing.
Autumn 2008
After seven years of fruitful
cooperation, the druckstelle team will now go separate ways.
Eva Pietzcker will continue at druckstelle.
Miriam Zegrer will establish another studio in 2009, offering a
printmaking program with woodblock, screen printing and artist book.
